Winner 2017

19 Winners announced at CEE Capital Markets Awards

CEE Capital Markets Awards distinguishes top public companies listed in Central Eastern Europe

The 3rd annual CEE Capital Markets Awards Gala was held yesterday (13 September, 2017) at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw, Poland, attracting more than 100 VIPs from the Capital Markets sector. The Awards distinguished publicly-listed companies who are leading the dynamic and fast-paced changes in the CEE region. Nominations were received from Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Lithuania.

In addition to the final Short-List of 71 leading companies who competed for the top-prize in 19 categories, 5 CEE-region Stock Exchanges attended, including Warsaw Stock Exchange, Bucharest Stock Exchange, Prague and CEE Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.

International guests attending were from UK, USA, Finland, Sweden, Israel, India, Ireland, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Switzerland.

“We have 3 main goals in organizing this Awards”, said Thom Barnhardt, organizer of this annual CEE Capital Markets Awards. “First, we want to encourage more global investor attention on the CEE region – stretching from the Baltics to the Black Sea – with its more-dynamic economies than western Europe – to attract more global investors to the region’s great companies. Secondly, we want to highlight top entrepreneurs and managers creating and building great companies.” The third goal, according to Barnhardt, is to shine a light on top institutional investors. “Especially those doing the extra work to discover rising stars in the region.”
